If you are one amongst those who thinks that PC gaming is as good as dead, then you ought to read ahead. Razer, the gaming hardware manufacturer, recently unveiled the Blade laptop, which vows to create ripples in the world of PC games. The company has entered the PC space for the very first time, and may prove to be the most coveted gaming laptop ever produced. It is being tagged as the first true gaming laptop to be ever developed by the company.
The light and thin gadget weighs 6.97lbs and has an aluminum chassis. It has a width, depth and height of 16.81”, 10.9” and 0.88”, respectively. The device runs on a 2.8GHz Intel Core TM i7 2640M Processor, an 8GB1333MHz DDR3 memory, NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M with NVIDIA OptimusTM Technology and 2GB dedicated GDDR5 video memory. Razer Blade comes with a built-in 60Wh battery and integrated HD webcam. The LED display measures 17.3 inch and actively supports HD that too at a resolution of 1920×1080.
Razer Blade will come with a Switchblade User Interface that incorporates 10 dynamic keys and an LCD screen placed at the right of the keyboard. This LCD screen will also work as a multitouch panel, which definitely surpasses all expectations from the brand and is the most innovative feature. When it is used in conjugation with an external mouse, Blade will display in-game information. It is a great portable and performance oriented device that will have better looks than hefty pieces present in the market. The remarkable design has a screen that will effortlessly double as a touchpad and is not placed under the keyboard like we typically see in laptops. It will also endow a user with the flexibility to generate their own macros and later give them customized icons, which will depend on the software it comes embedded with.
Razer Blade is an answer to the dwindling PC market and vows to deliver an amazing experience to gamers. It will come slashed with a price tag of $2799.99 and shipping will begin in America by the end of this year.
