Kitchens are getting an all new makeover, thanks to the modern technology that vows to make our lives simpler. They are an important part of every household and need to be treated in a special manner. Chiara Daniele has designed the i Food Kitchen, which will grace your living rooms with its peculiarity. The cooking system is a remote controlled concept that will bring eating, cooking and family gatherings on a common platform.
The i Food Kitchen can be used from all the sides that will sprinkle it with multipurpose features. All the electric appliances of this attention-grabbing concept are linked, which keep energy wastage at a minimum, while help reuse water. Normally, the steam produced while cooking is never used, but i Food will use the power of steam in an ingenious manner. The concept features a cooking system, oven, fridge, washing system and a living zone. A touch screen desktop has been wedged on the fridge’s door that has control over all the appliances, and which is used to switch on and off pieces of equipment. It will also put forward updates about potential failures and overall consumption.
The heart of the whole setup is the induction cooking plane that has been fitted with scales and digital controls. The surface will display the amount of ingredients added (weight wise) and also the amount of heat being used to cook a dish. This information, along with the time left for the cooking to complete, is clearly displayed with the help of LEDs near each vessel. A hood like table has been placed above the plane that uses the power of steam and doubles as a counter. A pot that can be used for H2O cooking is at one corner at the same level of the work top. The oven is also touch-sensitive and also has digital controls.
Cleaning the utensils comes sans any trouble and mess. It has a washing system that has a pullout tap, roll-away sink and a dishwasher. The fridge is quite interactive and has a touchscreen door. The screen-like door can become matte and transparent as per a user’s whims and fancies. The living zone will unfurl a convertible area that will have a TV, table and a few shelves. The i Food Kitchen will create a comfortable zone and blend with the dwellings, giving them a new meaning.
