Samsung is a Korean multinational corporation engaged in consumer electronics, shipbuilding, telecom, engineering and construction, financial services, chemicals, retail, heavy industries, entertainment, apparel and medical services. Samsung has come up with a new transparent tablet that is expected to hit the market in 2012. It is combination of smart phone and tablet. It is a thin, flexible transparent tablet that includes 3D technology and is easily foldable like a paper.
Features
Samsung’s flexible display tablet allows augmented reality interaction. The video has been prepared by mobile display division by using AMOLED (active matrix organic light emitting diode) display technology that are especially used in mobile devices and televisions. The video is neat and even video calls can be made. It also captures superior quality images, enables to read news, play games even in 3D. The screen is 4.5 inches and 0.3mm thick. It also features instant translation. The tablet can easily translate from one language to another about what one is saying. It includes organic materials and solar charging.
What’s good?
With its unique appearance it can be easily carried while traveling and can also be fitted in small purses and bags. Its instant translation, solar charging makes it an exclusive master piece from Samsung.
What’s not good?
Though it is sleek, flexible and easy to use, it is not free from problems. The main problems with such flexible and transparent screen tablets are batteries and resilience.
Price and availability
The price of this transparent tablet is not mentioned. It will be made available from January 2012 in the market.
