Is your next door neighbor constantly calling the cops on you because you refuse to keep the volume on your audio system down? Well, the party vest with an 8-inch Boss audio bass 900 subwoofer built-in may just be what you need to wear when you crawl in his bedroom video and “get him” for landing you in the slammer all those times. The self-powered speaker vest may remind you of the boom box era but trust us, this party vest is completely as 2012-ready as it gets and we’re sure Lady Gaga would totally wear it to her next performance.
Modded using a Daniese Gilet Cali Tessuto motorcycle vest as a base, the unique party vest comes custom-fitted with an eight inch Boss audio bass 900 subwoofer strapped to the back and a pair of amplified motorcycle speakers peeking over each shoulder. The vest comes with inputs for connecting an MP3 player or an iPod and features independent volume and bass controls on the custom-made 10 cell rechargeable battery size 36 belt that powers the beast. The designer has not specified whether the party vest can also be powered using an electrical outlet, but we’re sure you can figure that out after you get a few drinks poured down your neck.
Retailing at USD $850 a piece, the party vest is the perfect mobile entertainment system and we totally see it being misused by electronic stores and car dealerships for advertising purposes as well. Also, great as a Halloween costume, the party vest should help you get the party started in no time though people may not want to stand near you when you’ve got the thing booming. Take that Sony Walkman and iPod and double take that creators of headphones.
