The tedious wild-goose chase for a multi-touch all-in-one PC melded with toned down chassis has finally come to a standstill. Lenovo finally brings realism to the much-awaited combination with their latest A720 multi-touch all-in-one PC. The massive screen solution stretches up to mere 27-inches diagonally with display thickness measuring around 24.5mm.
Claimed to be the world’s thinnest all-in-one PC, the exquisite A720 snoozes out in a slender, aluminum framework and can be conveniently adjusted at the user’s desk or favorite spot. With portability factor hitched along at its best, the device can seamlessly be folded according to the users’ comfort level. The neat looking 10-finger capacitive multi-touch can even go from 90 degrees to -5 degrees flat for aggrandized mobility.
Powered by an efficient Intel Core-i7 Sandy Bridge CPU, the computing solution delivers a blazing-fast experience for people who value matchless speed and top-notch functionality. There is IR technology and a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels as well for better performance. Nevertheless, the slot for memory gets pleased through 8GB of RAM, 2GB of discrete graphics card and up to 1.8TB of storage space.
Though the model looks a bit cumbersome, the solid metal chassis pulls off well in intriguing with a clean finish. Lenovo might even have an upped chin for infusing a slew of powerful attributes in a body that talks all about its ‘slim and fine-grained dimensions’. Not to slip by, users will also be enabled to benefit from the integrated USB ports in the base, a Blu-ray drive and a TV tuner.
The new Lenovo A720 multi-touch all-in-one PC should buzz the market in the first quarter of 2012. The price tag, however, reads at $1,300. While the price point may not sound so very much pocket-friendly to some, the product does manage to ahead of the game.
