Disability is a challenge in itself and maintaining more than one wheelchair for both indoor and outdoor activities becomes more difficult and expensive. A modifiable wheelchair concept that could be customized according to the needs of the users has been designed to ensure mobility to the physically challenged. Named as Neo, the modular wheelchair includes flexible modules which could be removed easily to pack it in small volume.
This wheelchair comes with a bag specially designed for it, with a concealed zipper that reduces the chances of theft to almost zero. The zipper of the bag could only be opened when it is pulled on the legs and emptied with ease, giving more security and liberty to the user to keep their valuables. Another attractive part of this wheelchair concept is its integrated table. The bag could be re-attached to the back of the chair using magnetic closures. Unlike other wheelchairs that come with backpacks mounted on the backrest which makes filling and emptying difficult, the bag attached with Neo Wheelchair is simpler and easier to manage.
This wheelchair not only saves money by accommodating home wheelchair and sports wheelchair within a single unit by just changing its modules but also occupies very little space in your room. Its foldable nature makes it quite easy to transport in private as well as public transport. Once brought to the market this concept could prove to be a real boon for the physically challenged.
