Exactly one month from today — on June 23 — we will kick off the 4th Annual Creative Freelancer Conference in Chicago.
We’ll start at 1 PM with my Intro session on the Future of Freelancing, in which I’ll be sharing the trends I see and arguing that this is the absolute best time to be a freelancer, whether you’re on your first, second or even third career.
Then we’ll hear from Luke Mysse, who was such a hit last year 
when he ranted about “Who’s the Boss?” that we brought him back this year to talk about To Plan or Not To Plan? (Did you see his series last week on A Culture of One?)
Then, the infamous freelancer and author of 100 Habits of Successful Freelance Designers, Steve Gordon, Jr., founder of RDQLUS Creative, will talk about what it’s like to be a 24/7 creative. You’ll learn, among many other things, how creatively scheduling your day can actually make you more efficient than a 9-5 creative. (Check out Steve’s latest post where he also rants about how “Creativity is not about art.”)
We have a couple surprises for you, including a short presentation from our partner, Freelancers Union. (Membership is free, so if you haven’t joined yet, do so right now right here.)
There is still plenty of time to register and make plans to attend. And if you just can’t be there in person for the networking, but you still want to learn everything you can about freelancing, money management, getting freelance jobs and doing good work for clients you love, check out the recordings from the past 3 years here.
