Technology keeps innovating and spoiling us for choices and this time it is for the health conscious. A French company, VEA has designed the VEA Sportive mobile watch that not only displays time but also functions as a mobile phone. It can be worn on your wrist just like a normal watch.
With a 1.5″ touchscreen display the watch looks a bit chunky, although stylish and sporty. While running, the watch can help you keep track of your speed, pulse rate, distance and calories burnt. If you want more out of it, then the watch is capable of that too. You can store up to 8GB of songs and listen to them on the go with its built-in MP3 player.
Want to send a track to your friend or take a picture? Well, you can do that too with the VEA Sportive mobile watch. It has a camera and Bluetooth functionality just for that. If this doesn’t seem to impress you, then the SOS feature of the VEA watch will surely do the trick. It’s actually a button that sends out the information of your location in case of an emergency, especially handy for the elderly fitness freaks .
With the multitude of features that VEA Sportive has, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that it’s priced at €399 (about $572). Think you should wait till the price comes down? It doesn’t seem so, as in this case it is actually expected to increase to €499. The VEA Sportive watch will start shipping on July 14th. So start saving up if you have your eyes on it.
