You have heard about meals-on-wheels, right? Well, this incredible concept for a business venture tries to take that idea and flips it right on its head. Since these restaurants-on-a-van joints contribute to the obesity epidemic, the opposite of it should, in theory, be something that fights the condition. But then again, if you wanted to get exercise, you will not really think of hopping on a bus to do so, right? We thought so too. And then we came across this, let us just say astonishing, business proposal that basically is a gym on wheels and we were forced to reexamine everything we knew about fitness, gyms and sightseeing tours.
Paradoxical as the idea may sound, personal trainer and inventor of this cycling class bus concept Sandro Zumpe actually thinks people would really want to get into an open-air double-decker bus fitted with stationary bikes that they can workout on when they tour a new city.
The sightseeing tour bus is supposed to cater primarily to fitness freaks who do not want to miss a workout even when they are on a holiday. We would like to ask why couldn’t these people just get real bicycles and tour the city consuming less gas, but that would probably insult the intelligence of the genius that came up with the idea in the first place.
Anyway, Zumpe is actually looking for investors to back his big idea and if you are looking for new ways to blow your first ex-husband’s hard-earned money, this may be just the thing for you.
