No other home appliance has revolutionized our breakfast tables quite the way the Nespresso series of coffee makers did. The quaint countertop Barista took away all the tediousness associated with coffee making and took our home brewed coffee from a regular, bland, black cuppa only to a whole range of exotically styled brews with varying degrees of foam and textures. But while the hot or steamed variants of coffee get a whole range of preparation options, counter top coffee makers hardly ever produce a satisfying cold coffee and most of us still have to use our blenders to get the job done.
However, this lovely new Glacier Nespresso iced coffee maker by design studio Versus could just give the blender jar coffee a good run for its money. The iced coffee maker offers the same kind of ease of use and convenient functionality as other coffee steamers. To get a shot of the cold beverage, users simply need to pour in the ingredients in the given slots and let the machine do the rest of the work.
The exquisite freezing and cooling units of the Glacier allow the liquids to be stirred at very low temperatures, so that they don’t end up losing their chill when the coffee is ready to be served. The machine itself is designed to resemble a matte, oversized ice cube with a clear lead crystal glass in blue fitting in cozily in one strategic corner to give users their chilled beverage.
