Designed to enable people with lower limb disabilities to enjoy the thrill of going downhill, the Invicto wheelchair concept is the latest innovation that allows the disabled to enjoy extreme sports. The concept is developed primarily for mountain bikers and extreme sportspersons who have lost the function in their lower extremities and wish to continue enjoying their poison like regular people.
The concept created by a Peruvian designer Jose Antonio Avila, allows adventurous people with mobility issues to enjoy going downhill with a specially created wheelchair that features bespoke 5” front and rear suspensions in a Cromolyn frame that give the chair an unprecedented maneuverability. Safety features like 6-8 inch disc brakes allow the wheelchair to maintain optimum security even at top speeds of 40kph or more. Strategically located seat belts make the ergonomically designed wheelchair even more secure for sportspersons.
The hi-tech structure of the chair is crafted out of custom-created material that optimizes resistance and sturdiness of the vehicle allowing it to deliver the best performance in any kind of terrain and sports conditions. A Camber angle regulator/kingpin also allows the weight of a person to be distributed more evenly and helps the rider achieve a low center of gravity. A 4″ rear suspension allows the wheelchair to maintain optimum rider comfort in all kinds of terrain.
